Harnaaz Sandhu's brother reveals that Harnaaz would recreate Aish's popular song from Devdas

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu has won the Miss Universe 2021 title and has made India proud as she brought home the prestigious title almost 21 years after Lara Dutta won the same in 2000. 

Harnaaz hails from Punjab, she represented the country at the 70th Miss Universe 2021, held in Eilat, Israel. 

As a news portal reached out to her elated family to know more about the beauty queen.

The Miss Universe's brother Harnoor Singh told the news portal about how his sister Harnaaz was high on theatrics as a child and was a fan of Bollywood since the age of five

“Harnaaz has always been interested in dance, music and acting. When she was five years old, Harnaaz would dance with a diya in her hand to beautifully recreate Aishwarya’s popular song ‘Silsila Ye Chaahat Ka’ from ‘Devdas’,” shared Harnoor Singh. Having won the prestigious crown, seems like Harnaaz will soon find her calling in Bollywood and fulfill her childhood dream!

At the event Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was crowned by Andrea Meza, former Miss Universe 2020 from Mexico.

Sandhu claimed the prestigious title after edging out 79 other contestants which included runner-up Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira and second runner-up Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane.

This young and beautiful lady was crowned Times fresh face Miss Chandigarh in 2017 and she even won Femina Miss India Punjab in 2019, but she couldn’t make it to Femina Miss India in 2019. 

However, this year Harnaaz won LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021 and represented India at Miss Universe 2021 and has brought home the prestigious crown. 

Let us tell you the 21-year-old diva is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Public Administration.
