‘Har condition mein…’: Rajpal Yadav opens up about jail life in Farah Khan’s latest vlog

Actor Rajpal Yadav recently spoke about his time in jail during a candid appearance on Farah Khan’s vlog. The conversation comes weeks after the actor secured interim relief in a long running cheque bounce case that had brought him back into the spotlight.

During the interaction, Farah asked him if he had fans inside jail. Responding to this, Rajpal said, “Waha pe fans toh nahi, lekin jo ek system hai, ek kanoon hai, anushashan hai, usse bada koi nahi.” His response pointed towards the structured environment he experienced during his time there.

Farah also questioned whether the situation made him angry. Rajpal dismissed the idea, adding, “Nahi, main har condition mein jeena sikh gaya hoon.” He suggested that the experience shaped his ability to adjust, rather than leaving him frustrated or bitter about the circumstances.

When asked if he was assigned any duties in jail, the actor clarified that such a situation did not arise for him. However, he highlighted the importance of following routine. “Woh naubat nahi thi. Lekin proper discipline ke saath hame waha rehne ke liye mila tha, toh hame waha pe rehna hi tha aur proper time katna tha,” he said, underlining the strict schedule he had to follow.

Rajpal Yadav had surrendered at Tihar Jail earlier this year after a court order in connection with a financial dispute. The case dates back to a loan reportedly taken in 2010 to fund his directorial venture. Over time, the unpaid amount increased significantly due to interest and penalties, leading to legal proceedings.

According to reports, the actor faced multiple cheque bounce cases linked to the same loan. He was sentenced to six months in jail and began serving his term in February 2026 before being granted interim relief.

Despite the controversy, Rajpal is preparing for his return to films. He will next be seen in Bhoot Bangla, which also stars Akshay Kumar and is directed by Priyadarshan. The film marks their reunion after several years and has already drawn attention following its teaser release.
