Shaheer rose to fame after playing lead role of Anant in Star Plus romantic drama, Navya…Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal opposite Saumya Seth. The duo was loved for their cute chemistry in the show. Shaheer played a 19-year old college going student who was a traditionalist at heart. His role as Anant gave him the title of ‘Chocolate boy' in the industry.

Shaheer played two shades of Dev Dixit in the show. He played a dutiful son and a dotting husband who was well aware of his responsibilities in the office as well as his personal life.
