Birthdays are one of those days that create an ambience of celebration for all near and dear ones, and not just the birthday boy or girl. One such day, May 30th, marks the birthday of three stellar personalities of the Bollywood industry - Paresh Rawal, Jennifer Winget and Krushna Abhishek.
Born in 1950, a phenomenal Bollywood actor and politician, Paresh Rawal is a man who has made it big thanks to his versatile acting. He is married to former Miss India and actress, Swaroop Sampat, and is blessed with two sons.
Rawal started his career with the 1984 flick Holi, but it was his stint in Mahesh Bhatt's blockbuster hit Naam (1986) that gained him recognition. He has appeared in numerous films playing the likes of an antagonist, a comedian and a parent. A few notable films starring Rawal include Bhagwan Dada (1986), Ram Lakhan (1989), King Uncle (1993), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), China Gate (1998), Hera Pheri (2000), Nayak (2001), Baghban (2003), Welcome (2007), Paa (2009), and Zilla Ghaziabad (2013). He was highly appreciated for his role in the 2012 satirical-comedy-drama film OMG - Oh My God! Rawal has been the winner of prestigious awards like the Padma Shri Award, the National Film Award, Filmfare Awards, Star Screen Awards, IIFA Awards, and the list goes on. His upcoming projects include Welcome Back, Hera Pheri 3 and Dharam Sankat Mein.
Jennifer Winget is one of the few soap opera queens who have it in them to make it big in Bollywood. Born in 1985, this stunner was married to actor Karan Singh Grover in 2012 and the news of their separation has been doing the rounds since late 2014.
Winget made her acting debut as a child artist in the 1995 musical drama and romantic film Akele Hum Akele Tum. Since then, she has played small roles in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997), Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya (2000) and Kuch Naa Kaho (2003). She then went on to conquer the television industry with shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Sangam, Karthika, Dill Mill Gayye and Saraswatichandra. She was also seen in many non-fictional shows like Laughter Ke Phatke, Zara Nach Ke Dikha 2, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla and Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout. The actress has garnered many awards for her television stints. Her next venture, a romantic flick opposite the ace director Kunal Kohli, and her debut movie in a lead role, Phir Se has been put on an interim hold due to certain issues, but the movie has already manage to create a huge buzz among the fans.
The day also happens to be the birthday of the actor, host and comedian Krushna Abhishek. He is the nephew of veteran comedian and actor Govinda. Abhishek made his acting debut with Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat Hai in the year 2002, and has since been seen in movies like Hum Tum Aur Mother (2005), Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega (2007), Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya (2007), Deshdrohi (2008), Hook Ya Crook (2010), Bol Bachchan (2014) and Entertainment (2014). He has also been active in Bhojpuri Cinema and on television shows like Nach Baliye Season 3, various series of Comedy Circus, Gangs of Haseepur and Comedy Classes. He is slated to feature in the comedy film Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3.
