Today BollyCurry celebrates the birthday of an actor who's mostly known for his comic roles and belongs to a family of actors, producers and directors. We're talking about none other than the talented Fardeen Khan.

Born on 8th March, 1974 in Mumbai, he is the son of Bollywood legend Feroz Khan and nephew of actor Sanjay Khan. Zayed Khan and Suzanne Roshan are his cousins and Hrithik Roshan was his brother-in-law. He studied in Jamnabai Narsee School and started studying Business Management at the University of Massachusetts, but did not complete his schooling in favor of learning how to be an actor. In 2001, he was accused for possessing cocaine but later, was declared innocent.

He's happily married to Mumtaz's daughter, Natasha Madwani, since December 2005. His wife was expecting twins in 2012, but unfortunately had a miscarriage. The couple has a daughter named Diani Isabelle Khan, born on 11th December 2013, whose first name Diani means divinity in Portuguese, while Isabelle is a name that Fardeen always loved.

He debuted in the critically acclaimed Prem Agan as Suraj Singh in 1998, which didn't do well at the box office but earned him the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his much appreciated performance. He then appeared in Jungle (2001), which was declared a hit and received several positive reviews. Although he has appeared in more than 20 movies, he's best known for his work in multi-starrer films like Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001), Om Jai Jagadish (2002), Bhoot (2003), No Entry (2005), Shaadi No. 1 (2005), Pyare Mohan (2006), Heyy Baby (2007), Life Partner (2009), and All the Best - Fun Begins (2009). His latest release was Dulha Mil Gaya (2010) opposite Ishita Sharma and alongside Sushmita Sen and Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo. The film received mostly negative reviews and failed at the Indian Box Office, but was well received abroad.

His upcoming film, No Entry Mein Entry, is expected to release in 2015 and according to some rumors, we may see Khan playing a double role for the first time.

To celebrate Khan's birthday, below is a mini-playlist of some of his popular songs.
