Today marks the special day of one of our industry's best actor, producer, model, and  television host!!! We are talking about the one and the only Arjun Rampal! Happy birthday to the man with many talents!

Arriving in this world on 26th November 1972, Rampal was born to Amarjeet Rampal and Gwen Rampal in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. His family was fairly multicultural with his father being a Ramgariha Sikh and his mother being of Dutch descent. He and his younger sister attended the illustrious Kodaikanal International School in Tamil Nadu, where his mother also taught. He went to Hindu College, University of Delhi for higher education and even has a Bachelors in Economics. In his personal life, Rampal married Mehr Jesia, former Miss India and supermodel, in 1997 and they have 2 daughters, Mahikaa and Myra.

After a long struggle, Rampal caught the eye of designer Rohit Bal, which initiated his successful career as a male model and subsequent entry in to Bollywood. He made his acting debut in Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001), which failed commercially, but Rampal earned much critical acclaim for his performance. He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and won the same in the Star Screen Awards and IIFA Awards. After his debut, his career plateaued with a string of failed movies; nevertheless, he continued to garner appreciation for his talent and many fans. Things took a turn for the better in 2006 when Rampal got his breakthrough with Don - The Chase Begins Again. At this time he also established his own production company with his wife, Mehr Jesia, named Chasing Ganesha Films. He released his first movie, I See You (2006), in which he played the lead role, and though the movie was a failure, he was widely recognized for his role.Year 2007 saw him for the first time in a negative light in the hugely successful Om Shanti Om. He won the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role and was nominated for the same at the IIFA Awards, Star Screen Awards, and Apsara Awards for his performance. There has been no looking back since and Rampal has starred in numerous successful movies including Rock On (2008), Housefull (2010), Raajneeti (2010), We Are Family (2010), Ra.One (2011), Heroine (2012), Chakravuyuh (2011), Inkaar (2013), D-Day (2013), and Satyagraha (2013).

Arjun has had a TV presence as well. He appeared as a judge for the fourth season of Nach Baliye in 2008 and later hosted the 5th Apsara Awards with Preity Zinta in 2010 and the Love 2 Hate U on Star World India in November 2011. Below is a playlist of some of his best music:
