Bollywood's favourite Superstar Jackie Shroff lived along with his extended family in a 30 ft by 30 ft room in a chawl in the Teen Batti area of Malabar Hill, Mumbai, where 30 people shared 3 bathrooms.
It was one of his classmates in school who gave Shroff his name "Jackie" and then filmmaker Subhash Ghai stuck to this name when he launched him in the film Hero. This Gully Boy ruled the Bollywood Industry in the 1980s by delivering amazing performances in various hit films.
The superstar who ruled the Industry in the 70s and 80s was born in a small village of Ludhiana District. The actor has a huge fan base and he is among those Gully Boys who proved with his hard work that nothing is impossible.
