In an unexpected turn of events, Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday morning after accidentally shooting himself in the leg. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 4:45 a.m., and fans were left in shock when the news broke. Thankfully, the actor’s condition has been reported as stable, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Govinda himself addressed the worrying situation in a voice message from the hospital, reassuring his fans that he is on the mend. In a raspy voice, he shared, "Hello, this is Govinda. With the blessings of my fans, my parents, and God, I am doing better now. I was hit by a bullet, which has now been removed. I thank the doctor here, Dr. Agarwal, and all of you for your prayers.”

Actor Kashmera Shah, the wife of Govinda’s nephew Krushna Abhishek, was one of the first to visit him at Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai. When asked by paparazzi about the incident, Kashmera kept it brief, responding with, "Kuch nahi (Nothing)," avoiding further comments on the matter.

Kashmera has visited him. I’m in Australia, but he will be discharged in a few days,” Krushna told HT City.
Govinda’s niece, actress Ragini Khanna, also confirmed that her mother and brother had visited the actor in the hospital. “He is on his way to recovery. I request all the fans to pray for his speedy recovery,” she said, adding that while the procedure was done, he is still under observation.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have confirmed that the injury was caused by an accidental discharge from Govinda’s revolver. No complaints have been filed, but the police have started investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached out to Govinda via phone to inquire about his health, wishing him a speedy recovery and instructing the hospital staff to provide the best care for the actor.
