Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is one of the most popular shows on Indian television and the characters of the show have all become household names. And recently, there is news that has been reported in a leading portal about Ayesha Singh, who plays the lead role of Sai in the show, having tested positive for COVID.
It is mentioned that Ayesha tested positive for COVID-19 last evening and though she has not been coming to the shoot for the past few days, she was not well. She has mild symptoms and is under home quarantine. Also, the whole set has been fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol.
Rajesh Ram Singh & Pradeep Kumar, Producers, of the show too, confirmed and said that ''Ayesha is an integral part of the show. As soon as she tested positive she has quarantined herself. Immediately thereupon the entire cast & crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. Currently, the artist is receiving medical attention and is under home quarantine. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to."
Ayesha has quarantined herself as soon as the symptoms were detected. Also, the makers will change the track to accommodate absent of Ayesha's character in the show.
The current track has witnessed many shocking twists and turns. With Virat (Neil Bhatt) bringing home the wife of his deceased friend, Shruti, it has added a lot of mystery and suspense to the show. The show is currently focusing on Virat and Shruti’s plot.
