In tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Surekha eagerly displays the dresses she's bought for Chinmay, hoping to please him. However, Chinmay immediately assumes the worst, believing Surekha purchased them with Ishaan (Shakti Arora) in mind first. He bitterly reminds Surekha of her past favouritism towards Ishaan, feeling it's too late for her to show him love now. Chinmay dismisses Surekha from his room, displaying his hurt and resentment. Savi (Bhavika Sharma) witnesses this interaction, confronting Chinmay and searching his eyes for any hint of compassion, but she's met with his coldness. Despite her initial judgment, Jeetu defends Chinmay, recalling a moment when Chinmay showed genuine interest in his child, causing Savi to reconsider her perception.

As Surekha reflects on Chinmay's rejection while preparing milk, Savi intervenes just in time to prevent a mess. Savi recalls her past of making Modak, along with her mother, suggest a way to reset Surekha and Chinmay's strained relationship. Savi encourages Surekha to find their own "reset button" and leaves her to contemplate. Surekha, determined to mend things, decides to cook all of Chinmay's favourite dishes.

Surekha follows Savi's advice:

During a family meal, Reeva notices Surekha's improved mood, prompting Surekha to share her newfound understanding of a relationship's need for resetting. As everyone gathers to eat, Savi commends Anvi on her playwriting skills and appoints her as the cultural secretary while also invoking the qualities of the mythological figure Sri Ram, indirectly referencing Ishaan. Surekha mentions that Chinmay returned home after his time away, but Yashwant cautions against comparing Chinmay to Sri Ram. Surekha sees Chinmay and tells him she cooked all his favourite dishes. Chinmay responds by suggesting that the family eat together as they used to.

However, Chinmay's bitterness resurfaces as he insists on a family meal reminiscent of the past, positioning Ishaan beside him and pointedly rejecting Surekha's attempts at affection, reinforcing his perception of her past favouritism.
