'Ghulaam' fame Ridhiema Tiwari joins 'Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein'

Just four days into the new year, there cannot be a better piece of news than grabbing new opportunities and new jobs, isn't it? That is the case for actor Ridheema Tiwari, who is best known for her roles in shows like Sasural Genda Phool and Ghulaam among others. Tiwari has bagged a plump role in the show, Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein on And TV. After a brief break from appearing in Divya Drishti, she will now be seen in this show. Talking about it to Times of India, she said, “Now this is what I call a powerful comeback. My character Laila is a precious new year gift. I feel I am back to my true essence of power and grace with Rashmi Sharma’s show. I feel fortunate to be a part of ‘Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathaayein’, which has struck a chord with the audience.”

Talking about it what led to her taking up this show, she said, “What is most enticing is the look of the character and the layers I shall be unfolding while consciously chalking out my presence in the family. Laila is elegant, sensuous and intimidating. She is all about adaa, dance, seduction and fearlessness. She is a head turner and gets a lot of attention from people without even asking for it. I am excited about the character as I am back in a sensuous Indian avatar post my outing in 'Ghulaam'.”

She has, in fact, started shooting a few days ago and talking on it, she said, Come to think of it, I welcomed 2021 dancing to Bollywood chartbusters for my entry on the show. I have been on my feet for almost eight hours for two consecutive days. But the muscle soreness and hard work are worth it. I am loving every moment of being Laila.”
