Six year old dancing queen Rupsa Batabyal from Kolkata leaves no stone unturned in giving back to back stunning performances on Sony Entertainment Television’s kid's dance reality show Super Dancer chapter 3. The upcoming episode of the show is all set to make this weekend nostalgic for the viewers with the presence of the iconic, ‘Disco Dancer’ Mithun Chakraborty.
The era of the 90s came alive on the sets as all the contestants along with the judges - Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Anurag Basu, and Geeta Kapoor dressed up in the 90’s disco fashion and grooved on some famous songs of that era. To add on, contestants performing on the veteran actor’s popular songs made the walk down memory lane.
Little Rupsa has time and again received tremendous appreciation from everyone and has now collected a whopping 38.5k followers on Instagram. Like always, in the upcoming episode of the show, she will be seen surprising the judges and Mithun Da by performing on his popular song “Julie Julie”. In the show where the contestants are seen performing with their super gurus, Rupsa received appreciations for being better than her guru Nishant. After her performance, she left the audience wonderstruck and received a standing ovation.
Impressed with Rupsa’s performance judge Geeta Kapoor commented, “I never thought that someone can ever match the charm of ‘Dancing Diva’ Helen. But Rupsa very much resembles Helen with all her graceful dance moves and elegant expressions. I have seen Rupsa’s previous performance four times in a row. I am still not able to get over it.”
On seeing such an amazing talent in the show Mithun Da bowed down in front of Rupsa and commented, “I am frankly speaking I didn’t even see Nishant performing. In the entire performance, I was just watching Rupsa and nobody else.”
Later in the show, Geeta mentioned that Rupsa is the only contestant who has shown maximum variations in the dance performances in the entire Super Dancer Chapter 3. The dancing duo hasn't repeated any form of dance style in the entire show.
