Gaurav Khanna has a 'casual' THROWBACK to his character in 'Prem Ya Paheli? - Chandrakanta'

Kritika Kamra was the best Chandrakanta among all the actresses playing Chandrakanta. She was very modern for a 11th century woman. She always fought back and stood for self-respect. Though she was butchered a few times but still she is one of the best and strongest female leads in Indian Television. She fought back against her enemy Shiv Dutt instead of becoming his slave. As someone said in below comment that Indian people does not like good stuff so they deserve rubbish they get. ChaVi is one of the best romantic pair I have seen in Indian Television. Like others, I too wish for Season 2 to complete the incomplete story in a proper way.

Completely Agree with both ov you Neen and Juhi . Gaurav is super talented , heard work, Honest towards his work. No one can beat Gaurav in any kind of roles which he played. And Prince Virander singh is one of the best role played by Gaurav. Hope We see Gaurav on Screen soon. Love you Gaurav Khanna. :-)))

Completely agree with you juhi. Some shows n actors get special mentions on IF and others are forgotten. Thank God!!! IF remembered to post this article for completing one year of PYPCK. And yes Gaurav is best as Prince Virendra singh. He completely nailed it with his performance. Whether it was action sequence or romantic scene, he owned it.
Virendra singh is surely the best ML on television shows world; non abusive, supportive lover without any faltu tashan. Still in awe of PYPCK n our darling prince Virendra singh aka GK. Hope to see him on screen soon.

IF remembered some actors or show but they forgot to mention that 1 year has passed of this show. Gaurav Khanna was the best Virendra Singh among all the actors playing Virendra Singh. His character's transformation from a khunkhaar killer to a lover was awesome. And yes he changed into a better person without any efforts of Chandrakanta. His character respected woman and loved Chandrakanta even when he was a killer which is hardly seen in any male lead nowadays. Virendra Singh was an ideal friend, lover, son and also future son-in-law. No one have ever imagined Gaurav Khanna doing such a different role but he aced it with his performance.

Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta; undoubtedly one of the best shows on television. Show has everything that is required for a good show, the story, the cast n characterization. This show is best adaptation of novel till date. It is way better than Colors version. Show may haven't fetched the sky soaring Trps but content and popularity wise, it is surely the winner; as fans still love the show very much. They continuously want the season 2. And about Gaurav, he was/is magnificent as Virendra singh. Bottom line is that fans miss the show like anything.

A great warrior that comes straight out of history multitalented Gaurav Khanna was EPIC as prince virendra singh actually the most important thing about prem ya paheli chandrakanta was its male lead the immensely talented actor who always amazes the audience with his impeccable acting skills who was the soul of the show ... i hope my petition for season 2 gets a result & we can see your magical work as yuvraj virendra once again.

Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta wes one of the bestest , Awesome , Mind-blowing Show . not other show can beat this show. we are badly missing PYPCK . it deserve season 2 with same old cast.
Gaurav Khanna was perfect for thi role 'Virandra singh ' .
