Gaurav and I have a double celebration tonight: Akanksha Khanna on wedding anniversary

Akanksha Chamola Khanna and Gaurav Khanna has clocked in five years of marital bliss. The couple got married on 24th November 2016. The couple is said to have a filmy love story. Gaurav bumped into Akanksha during one of the auditions. While Gaurav has already been a known name in the industry Akanksha was relatively new and didn’t have an idea about Gaurav being a renowned name.

During the audition, Akanksha thought that Gaurav is also a budding actor and she spoke to him very casually, unaware of his stardom. Gaurav was swept by Akanksha’s cuteness. He later asked her to google his name and that’s when reality hit Akanksha hard and she realized that Gaurav is a popular actor. After a few months of dating each other, the duo was certain that they want to spend their lives with each other and take the plunge.

India Forums buzzed Akanksha and asked her about her anniversary plans. She quipped, “It’s a double celebration for us as Gaurav will be receiving an award tonight. It’s certainly an achievement as he is getting recognition in a short span of time for his role in ‘Anupamaa’. We celebrate togetherness every once in a while, so there’s nothing specific for anniversary celebration”.

When asked about tips for a happy married life, Akanksha said, “Well, I feel the concept of the same differs from person to person. For me, the idea for a happy married life is to first be a happy individual. If I am happy and content only then I will be able to keep my partner happy. I make a point to lead a chill life and not take stress thinking about the future. I keep it very real, be very honest, truthful and just enjoy and be chilled in life. I enjoy the process and go with the flow. I try to not over think, take societal pressures or take a lot of people’s advises”.
