'Game Of Thrones' Creators Fire Their Managers as New Deal Begins

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, creators and writers of epic fantasy drama, Game Of Thrones have left Management 360. According to reports in Hollywood Reporter, the duo continue to be repped by Hansen Jacobson attorney Gretchen Rush as they shop for a new overall TV deal. 

They are expected to garner interest from multiple outlets given their success with Thrones' early seasons, and sources say HBO remains in the mix to re-sign them — even after the divisive series finale. Perhaps the biggest question mark to seeing Benioff and Weiss signing a rich overall deal is their time constraints, as the duo are writing a new Star Wars trilogy, with the first film due in 2022.

Talking about Guymon Casady of Management 360, they have fired their manager (him) who was with them for twenty years. Casady also served as a producer on Game of Thrones, having been the one who originally connected the creators to Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.

'Guymon has been a good friend and partner to us for many years, and we look forward to the next chapter in our relationship,' Benioff and Weiss said.

'His eye for great material is keener than it’s ever been, and we expect to be producing many shows and films with him in the future,' they concluded. 

Aside from his work on Game of Thrones, Casady has served as an executive producer on AMC's The Terrror, which returns for Season 2 on August 12. 

He has also produced a wide array of movies such as The Expendables movies, the hit biopic Steve Jobs and the R-rated comedy Office Christmas Party. Benioff and Weiss were also creating an HBO series dubbed Confederate, set in an alternate world where the Confederacy won the Civil War. 

Benioff and Weiss also continue to be repped as directors by CAA.
