Galaxy of Stars for a Special Cause...

A galaxy of stars gathered at Blue Waters, Andheri for the launch of the documentary ‘Ishtar Ek Darpan’ and book on "Positive Affirmation". The book highlights how positive healing and alternative therapies help everyone particularly senior citizens and special children.

Anuj Saxena (doctor turned actor, businessman (Elder Healthcare Ltd.) , producer (Maverick Productions Pvt. Ltd.), restauranter (Blue Waters) and Brand Ambassador (Fair One man fairness cream) was the Honorable Chief Guest for the occasion and present with him was Mala S. Shetty, Lioness Club, Vasant Vihar, Chembur.

Well known faces from the Indian entertainment industry like Mr. Anil Wanwari(guest of honor), Singer Babul Supriyo, Nausheen Ali Sardar, Parul Chauhan, Producer Ratna Sinha, Sujata Kumar, Kiran Dubey (Anchor) , Pulkit Samrat, Ekta Sharma, Madhura Naik, Siddarth Shukla, Nupur Alankar, Bobbiy Bhonsley, Bakul Thakkar, Tushar Mishhra were present there to grace the occasion.

Ishtar Holistic Centre located at Seven Bunglows Andheri (West) is run by Dr. Kaajol Karia and Dr. Geetanjali Saxena. It involves a holistic approach and specializes in Theta DNA Healing, Past Life Regression Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Tarot Card reading, Reiki, Runes, Colour Therapy and Graphology. They also run an Ishtar energy foundation which works for senior citizens, special children and battered women.

Rishi Shahani, a special child gave a memorable song and dance performance on ‘Soni De Nakhre’ from the film Partner. Babul spoke from heart sharing his experience about optimism in life. The audience were enamored with his surprise on the spot speech. He came to support the cause and even sang the song "Bhavre ki Gunjan". Nausheen and Anuj were dressed in white which was a sheer co incidence and they met like long lost friends. Nausheen in white looked very pretty and everyone showered her with compliments. Rishi kissed her hand on completion of his dance performance.

Kiran Dubey, the charming host could not stop complimenting Anuj Saxena’s charming looks. Rishi Shahani the special child suffering from down syndrome was extremely excited on meeting Parul Chauhan the lead girl of Rajan Shahi's Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai who came directly from the sets and was present only for a short while. He told Parul he watches her show and he was surprised to meet her.

The good looking Siddharth Shukla the lead of Ratna Sinha's Babul Ka Angann Chootney Na came in the last and was quite happy to be able to support an event with a cause. Kiran Dubey was narrating the benefits of healing to Siddharth and how it has made a difference in her life. Ratna Sinha made a rare appearance and people thought she is some actress Anil Wanwari who was the guest of honor extended his full support to Dr.Kaajal whose book "Positive affirmations" and documentary "Ishtar Ek Darpan" was launched.

Chief Guest of the event Dr. Anuj Saxena said, “Special children and senior citizens’ wellbeing is a very important issue in today's society. I appreciate Ishtar energy foundation and Lioness Club, Chembur's endeavor to make the documentary reach masses. I am sure the awareness will increase via the documentary”.

The guest of honor Mr. Anil Wanwari says, “I have been exposed to Ishtar Healing. I am thankful to Dr.Kaajal. Ever since I have accepted it, I have seen positive improvement in my personal and professional life”.

On the same day was Dr. Anuj Saxena’s Birthday, so all the members of Lions Club International and all the guests celebrated his birthday with a cake. Member of Lions Club Mala S. Shetty presented him a greeting card.
