Actress Gal Gadot is certainly willing to explore an entirely new facet when it comes to her upcoming film choices. Apart from how she has her much-awaited second Wonder Woman film coming in next year, she has also bagged some other important projects. This latest one may just be a reminder on how the actress has the right acting chops on display and not just the looks.

According to a report in Variety, Gadot has been roped in to play the leading role in Irena Sendler that is base don the Polish heroine who saved thousands of Jewish children during the Holocaust. This film is set up with Warner Bros. through Gadot's recently formed company, Pilot Wave with producing partner and husband, Jaron Varsano. When it comes to the character that Gadot will be playing, Sendler worked with dozens of others to smuggle out children, provide them with false identification and place them with families. She was arrested by the Gestapo in 1943 and tortured but never revealed any information about the children.

Are you excited about Gadot's newest venture? We certainly are.
