This past week has been all about clothes and makeup and why not, it was the holiday season. Just one of the many opportunities we girls get to dress up. Think grand wedding parties that called for ethnic elegance or the big, bad bashes, while we were acing our game of style, so were these celebrities. The TV world beauties were putting out the pictures of their look of the day, and as usual we were scanning, analysing, appreciating or critiquing their chosen sartorial move. Here’s taking a look at how well they scored on our style desk’s meter.
Aditi Bhatia aka Ruhi Bhalla of YHM, this blue eyed girl shared quite a lot of winter looks, out of them all this one made it to our weekly roundup. A hot pink jumper, white sweater and earmuffs to go with it. While everything was great about Aditi’s outfit, the fit of the jumpsuit looked a bit off. Aditi gets just eight for this warm fuzzy OOTD.
What we like about Anita Hassanandani’s girlie chic look, the lace dress, red triangular sunglasses and the sling bag. If asked what is it that we do not like then it is the length of the inner. A pair of denim hot shorts would have looked better. Just like Aditi, Anita too gets an eight for this!
Divyanka Tripathi’s red carpet look was all things nice, sugar and spice. The colour, silhouette and the way she carried it, it was all spot on. However one thing that we did not like was the poofed up single sleeve. Wish it was a sleeveless.
The sparkly saree spotting and how we love them. Thanks to Manish Malhotra and his Bollywood muses, who’ve taken the saree world by storm. This is on every fashionistas list for the next cocktail party, especially this wine coloured one worn by Ishita Dutta. Ishita gets a full ten for her saree spotting.
The mention of sparkle and sequence puts our style desk in a party mode and a silhouette like Jasmin Bhasin’s takes us to our vintage chic wardrobe. Jasmin is just to glam to give a damn in this ink blue, sequence dress. Jasmin gets a fine nine for this!
The trend of structured garbs have reached TV world as well. Proof is Shivangi Joshi’s blush pink red-carpet pick. It isn’t just the silhoutte but the floral embroidery and head piece too that is making it a win with us. Shivangi gets a cool ten for this glam.
