Four Lions to bring Youngistaan on Channel V
As teenage and young adult shows continue to increase in number on music channels, Channel V's next concentrates on youth politics.
We hear that the show is tentatively titled as Youngistaan and will be based on college life and youth politics.
Ayaz Ahmed who was last seen in UTV Bindaas Meri to Lag Gayi Lotery has been finalized to play the male main lead whereas Smriti Kalra,last seen as Simi in Zee TV's 12/24 Karol Bagh, will play the female lead.
We contacted Gorky, the producer at Four Lions who asserts,"Nothing is confirmed yet."
Ayaz informs," I have just had a pilot shoot with them but haven't received a confirmation call from them."
We contacted Prem Kamat of Star India, but he remained unavailable for comment.

Dear Drashti, We would love to see Gurmeet & Drashti in either GHSP 2 or any other interesting show. Request to PH, Channel -please use the popularity of Gurti which is sky high & exceptional. They have an unique sizzling chemistry which is in a phenomenon proportion. Gurti both are talented, extremely good looking, with the ability to show real expressions, they compliment each other completely, their timing, their rapport, their bonding would be a great asset to the new show.
