Following the trend of HISTORICAL shows, a show on 'Chandraskhekhar Azad' to be presented!

Indian television has had a special place for historical shows over the time. What began in the 90s has continued till now and is in fact getting even bigger!

From the likes of 'The Sword of Tipu Sultan' to 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat', several historical biopics have been presented. And even today, we have two major shows such as 'Peshwa Bajirao' and 'Chandrakanta' all set to go on-air.

And now, according to a leading news portal, another historical biopic is all set to be under works. Renowned writer, Aniruddh Pathak who has been the penman of several mega shows like 'Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev' and 'Siya Ke Ram' among others is all set to be venturing into production now.

And to make his maiden production a big one, the writer has been working on untold story of Chandrashekhar Azad.

This show, with a similar concept was worked upon last year, but things did not work out and it has now come to Aniruddh.

Under his banner, Writers Galaxy Studios, the life of freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad will be presented on Indian TV for this first time, which is tentatively titled, 'Quick Silver Azad' for Star Network.

The project, though in a very nascent stage is said to be worked upon on a quick pace now.
