While fans have already been excited about Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Prabhu's forthcoming project, the makers have revealed the title of the film. The project has been titled 'Kushi' and makers have also unveiled the first-look poster wherein we can see Vijay and Samantha in a romantic setting.

While the actress is attired in a ponk saree, the Liger star has donned a pink hoodie with a checkered overcoat and is posing in swag. The film would most likely reflect the plot of director Mani Ratnam's romantic drama Roja, which was released in 1992. The new project is Shiva Nirvana's bid to recount the story of Roja to the contemporary age, with the filmmaker following Roja for 60% of the storyline.

Shiva Nirvana has written an exciting love story with plenty of passion laid in the setting of Kashmir. The film is all set to be released on December 23. Kiara Advani was originally considered for the role of the unknown. They chose to bring in Samantha because of her busy schedule in Bollywood. Majili has previously been worked on by Siva Nirvana and Samantha.

On the professional front, Samnatha will also be seen in Yashoda. Samantha will star in the new-age thriller, directed by Hari and Harish, which will be her first pan-India project. In addition, the actor has a number of upcoming projects.

She concluded the shoot for filmmaker Gunasekhar's next film Shaakuntalam in August of last year. Samantha is also working on the Tamil period rom-com Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Vijay Deverakonda has Liger, which is helmed by Puri Jagannadh.
