FIR filed against Prerna Arora for allegedly ABUSING her Masseuse

Once the most sought-after producer has once again landed herself in another major controversy!

At the start of 2018, producer Prerna Arora was at the top of the game with two back-to-back hit films - Pad Man and Pari. Soon things took an ugly turn and after losing a court battle against John Abraham for his recently released film 'Parmanu' and the public fall out with 'Kedarnath' director Abhishek Kapoor, that path doesn't look easy for the producer.

If professional obstacles were no less, a personal issue has boiled up into a major controversy for Prerna. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, a non-cognisable complaint has been filed against her for allegedly assaulting and abusing her masseuse.

The report by Meghwadi Police further states that a 60-year-old masseuse named Khairun Mukthar Ahmed had been offering massage services to the Rustom producer for almost 10 years now. The masseuse who lives in Santacruz has claimed in her complaint, "She used to call me for massages in the night. I was desperate for money, first to pay for my husband's cancer treatment and after his death, to pay off the loans".

In the same report, Khairun further claims that she was promised Rs 75,000 per month for massage between midnight and 8 am. Speaking about the same, she mentioned in her complaint, "When I asked her about it once, she tried to reassure me, saying she wasn't going anywhere. Later, she issued a cheque for Rs 1.25 lakh (Arora owed her Rs 3.75 lakh), which bounced owing to insufficient funds".

As per reports, on June 9, Ahmed confronted Prerna Arora about the pending payment and this is when the producer argued with her and also beat her up and later shut the door on her face. Contrary to this story, Prerna revealed her side of the story by stating, "Ahmed tried to steal Rs 56,000 from her house and after being caught by her bodyguards, she was barred from entering her housing society".

When asked about the pending payment, Prernaa stated, "It's a very small amount and if Khairun Ahmed has any bills and invoices, she will be paid immediately."
