Actor Kamaal R Khan often finds himself in soup, thanks to his controversial statements on the Internet. He has yet again landed himself in legal trouble as an FIR has been filed against him for allegedly tweeting derogatory remarks about late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan.
As per PTI, the FIR was registered on Wednesday based on a complaint lodged by Yuva Sena's core committee member Rahul Kanal regarding the offensive tweets made by KRK against the deceased actors.
A senior police official told PTI: "We have registered an FIR against Kamaal R Khan for making derogatory remarks about both the deceased actors under section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public) and other provisions of the IPC.”
No arrest has been made but the investigation is underway.
Just a day before Rishi Kapoor’ demise, KRK had taken to Twitter to write that the actor must not die as wine shops were set to open soon. KRK ad taken pot-shots at the actor and said, "Irrfan Khan excesses with his producers and does not behave in a manner with them. He took money from the producers, but did not complete the shooting of many films."
Both the talented actors left for heavenly abode after they succumbed to cancer. Irrfan Khan died of colon infection on April 29 after a long battle with cancer and in less than 24 hours, the industry suffered another big loss as Rishi Kapoor succumbed to leukaemia on April 30.
