#FilmyFriday: What would happen if 'Satte Pe Satta' was made in 2019

Who would be the cast? Wanna know? Read further to discover...

Now-a-days Bollywood filmmakers are quite interested in recreating the magic of the classics that have impressed and won the hearts of the audiences a few decades back.

So, we thought why not revamp the cast of Satte Pe Satta with the current heart-throbs of Bollywood. The film depicts a tale of 7 brothers whose lives change when their elder brother gets married.

Let's see if Satte Pe Satta were to be made in this age, which actor would be a better fit to play the following characters:

Ravi Anand - Ranveer Singh

Previously played by Amitabh Bachchan, Ravi is the eldest of the 7 brothers. His personality is like a coconut 'tough on the outside, soft on the inside'.

After watching Ranveer in different roles like lively and carefree in Befikre or Dil Dhadakane Do, serious in Bajirao Mastani; He will be able to portray the role of Ravi Anand accurately.

Indu R. Anand - Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte is one of the few versatile actresses in Bollywood who do not stereotype themselves when it comes to their acting.

It will be interesting to watch Radhika in the shoes of Hema Malini and portrayed the role of a sister-in-law who with her confidence, strict but sometimes lenient attitude teaches her husband's brothers how to act sophisticated, the meaning of love and how to woo a girl without seeming desperate.

Som Anand - Rajkummar Rao

Played by Sudhir, Som Anand is one of the eldest of the brothers. He talks a little loud, intimidates his younger siblings but is a huge softie at heart. After watching Rajkummar play the role of Pritam Vidrohi, a saree salesman turned into a man with a bad and short temper, it will be fascinating to watch Rajkummar essay the role of Som.

Mangal Anand - Kartik Aaryan

Previously played by Shakti Kapoor, Mangal has a stammering issue. Kartik known for his humorous role in the Pyaar Ka Panchnama will be suitable to play the role of a brother that stammers but is cute and innocent at the same time.

Budh Anand - Saqib Saleem

Paintal essayed the role of Budh Anand, the shortest among all of his brothers but has a heart of gold. Saqib after essaying the role as coach Arjun in Hawaa Hawaai will be suitable to play Budh in the remake of the movie.

Guru Anand - Vicky Kaushal

Played by Kanwaljit Singh, Guru is the shy one of all the brothers. Vicky has always tried to play different types of roles, may it be the shy person in Masaan or a disciplined army officer in URI: The Surgical Strike. It will be interesting to watch Vicky essay the role of Guru Anand.

Shukra Anand - Siddharth Malhotra

Vikram Sahu played the role Shukra. He is one of the younger siblings of the 7 brothers, who tries to act tough and gangs up against their youngest sibling Shani, who is Ravi's favourite (according to the brothers).

It will be interesting to watch Sidharth essay the role of Shukra, after his stint in Kapoor and Sons, which was on a similar basis.

Shani Anand - Varun Dhawan

Varun might be the perfect candidate to play the role of Shani. Originally played by Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shani is the youngest of all of his brothers. He shares a unique relationship with his eldest brother Ravi and sister-in-law Indu.

Varun being the youngest in his family always carries a playful and mischievous aura around him. So, playing the youngest sibling will come naturally to him.

Seema Singh - Regina Cassandra

Seema a rich orphan girl who lives with 6 of her care-takers is wheel-chair bound. She is quite mature for her own age.

Regina recently played the role of Sonam Kapoor's girlfriend, Kuhu, in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. She would be suitable to play the role of Seema.

Ranjeet Singh - Prakash Raaj

Amjad Khan, known for his villainous roles in many movies, essayed the role of Ranjeet Singh, uncle of Seema, who can do anything to inherit the money Seema is the owner of. According to us, Prakash Raaj could easily essay the role of a villainous uncle, as he has portrayed such roles in the past.

What do you think? Does our cast do any justice to the veterans? Write it down in the comments below about what you think about the article and share with us if you have any similar ideas.
