Fatima Sana Shaikh begins preparations for Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur

Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has begun preparing for the forthcoming movie Sam Bahadur after recently appearing in the anthology Modern Love Mumbai. In the Meghna Gulzar directorial, she will feature with Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra. 

The Dangal actress will play India's first female prime minister, Indira Gandhi, in the movie, which is based on the biography of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

Fatima shared a sneak peek from her film prep with director Meghna Gulzar on Instagram on Friday. She can be seen in the image wearing a white shirt and denim pants and is sporting nerdy glasses. The actress can be seen having an in-depth discussion with her director.

Sharing the picture with her fans, the actress wrote, "Sinking my teeth in #SamBahadur @meghnagulzar." 

Fatima's fans are super excited to see her ace the role and so are we.

Earlier speaking about the film, Fatima stated that she has been watching a lot of Indira Gandhi's old interviews and reading a lot of material about her. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Fatima is also working in Taapsee Pannu's production 'Dhak Dhak' along with Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak, and Sanjana Sanghi.
