My dad has always been my Hero! With him around, we were always safe. He was also the number one snooker player at one point in Pune. And we were so proud of his achievements trophies that were all around the house! For me, my daddy is my true hero! 

Shantanu Maheshwari:

Sharing one incident when my dad has been my hero isn't enough, as there are a lot of them! From supporting me in my career decisions to guiding me on the right path and teaching me that the hardest routes in life brings out best in people, and ensuring that my every need is always taken care of, he has, is and will always be my hero in life!

Since my childhood, my dad has always been the one person I have looked upto, and an absolute hero for me in every possible way! He has always been my biggest support system in both my professional and personal relationships, and especially when I wanted to take the plunge from the corporate world to become an actor, I remember having called him one day and he just told me to not think it over too much and just take the plunge towards whatever I truly wanted to do! And that is what had given me true strength to take up my passion!

Quite a few years ago, when my father used to drive the autorickshaw, there was this couple who had left a bag full of money and jewellery in his rickshaw by mistake, which on noticing he went back and returned all their valuables to them. They really did bless him! And so he is truly my hero for everything that he has taught me in life till date! To be honest, forgiving, humble and look at everything with a simple approach in life. My daddy is and always will be my true hero in life!

My father has always been a bighearted man! It never mattered to him about how much he had. He has always done the best for us with a big smile on his face! And always shown us that daughters are no lesser than sons. And so my father has always been my hero and one of my biggest support systems throughout!
