Fateh Day 5 Box Office: Sonu Sood's Action Film Sees Slow Progress, Nears Rs 10 Crore Milestone

Fateh, Sonu Sood's directorial debut, continues to struggle at the box office despite its promising premise and star power. The action-packed film, which stars Sonu Sood in the lead, hasn't managed to capture the audience's attention as expected. The movie, which was expected to make a strong impact, finds itself limping towards the Rs 10 crore mark.

The story of Fateh revolves around an ex-Indian spy, Fateh Singh (Sonu Sood), who lives a quiet life as a dairy farm supervisor in Punjab. His peace is shattered when Nimrat (Shivjyoti Rajput), who is like a sister to him, goes missing while investigating a predatory loan app in Delhi. Fateh teams up with an ethical hacker, Khushi Sharma (Jacqueline Fernandez), to uncover a vast cybercrime racket.

Despite its thrilling plot, Fateh couldn't sustain a solid box-office performance. The movie opened with a modest collection of Rs 2 crore on Day 1, followed by a similar performance on Day 2, earning another Rs 2 crore. On Day 3, the film once again managed Rs 2 crore, keeping things steady. However, things took a downturn on Day 4 when it could only bring in Rs 70 lakh. Even the Makar Sankranti festival, which generally boosts collections, couldn't help Fateh, as the movie collected only Rs 90 lakh on Day 5.

As of now, the total collection for Fateh stands at Rs 7.60 crore in India. The film is inching closer to the Rs 10 crore mark, but its future at the box office looks uncertain. It is expected to finish its theatrical run with a total collection of around Rs 12 crore.
