Farnaz Shetty Comes to The Aid Of Shafaq Naaz As She Is Suffering From Slipped Disc

It did come across as a shock of sorts when a while ago we reported about actor Shafaq Naaz suffering from a slipped disc. And it seems the actor's friendship with Farnaz Shetty is standing the test of times and only seemingly getting stronger than ever.

Owing to Naaz suffering from a slipped disc, Naaz has moved into Shetty's home and the latter is taking care of her. In an interview with Times of India, Shetty said, “Shafaq and I have known each other by virtue of being in the same profession, but we grew closer this year, especially during the lockdown.”

She added, “Shafaq gets a lot of messages because her show, ‘Mahabharat’, is currently on air. It was getting increasingly difficult for her to reply to every message. Hence, I decided to put up a post telling her followers, fans and well-wishers that she is doing fine and will get back soon.”

Talking about Naaz's health woes, Shetty adds, “When she first experienced back pain, she called me to check if I could get her the medicine. However, the pain worsened soon, rendering her immobile. I immediately rushed her to a physiotherapist, who diagnosed her with a level-two slip disc. It might take her weeks or even months to recover.”

Shetty says, “She is staying with me right now. Our homes are 10 minutes away from each other. I live with my family, while she stays alone. It can get quite difficult to manage things when you are alone and unwell. So, I got her to stay with me to make sure that there is always someone to tend to her.”
