Farhan and Zoya's Gangster Film in the Pipeline?

Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar have been one of the best brother-sister duo and apart from this, the talented duo is undoubtedly one of the most talented filmmakers we have in Bollywood. 

Zoya has often directed brother Farhan Akhtar in films like, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and they have garnered a lot of love and appreciation for their collaboration. Now, the director was asked if she has any plans to work with brother anytime soon she reportedly said that she wishes to do a gangster film. 

The reports in the Times of India stated that Farhan and Zoya are dying to do a gangster film. She also added that they are looking for a good script.

She further went on to reveal that gangster film is her favorite genre. However, she confirmed that she hasn’t come across any material that she wants to tell, but she is actively looking for it because she wants to do one. Zoya also said that she believes in doing things at her pace and doesn’t feel the need to keep having a release.

Zoya was last seen directing Gully Boy which starred Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film saw a huge appreciation from the audience and critics as well.
