Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar look adorable as they get clicked for first time after marriage

TV personality Shibani Dandekar, and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar were seen at her home in Bandra, Mumbai, on Monday. The newlyweds also gave out candy to the paparazzi who were waiting outside their home. The pair registered their marriage on Monday.

Farhan Akhtar was dressed in a bright pink ethnic costume for the occasion. Shibani Dandekar wore a saree and a full-sleeved blouse that matched Farhan's ensemble. She wore her hair in a sloppy bun and accessorised with jewelry. The couple smiled at the camera as they posed for photos. 

Shibani shared a photo of herself getting ready for the registry on Instagram Stories earlier in the day. "Let's go!" she captioned the shot. 

Farhan and Shibani married in Khandala on Saturday in a small ceremony attended by family and close friends. After dating for more than four years, the couple married in a farmhouse in Khandala, a hill station near Mumbai. Shibani wore an off-shoulder red gown with a matching veil, while the groom wore a black tuxedo with a matching bow. 

The wedding was attended by Farhan and Shibani's friends from the industry, including actors Hrithik Roshan, Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Farah Khan, Farhan's sister Zoya Akhtar, music composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, among others. 

Farah had previously shared a snapshot of herself and Zoya at the wedding ceremony on her Instagram page. "Aaj hamare bhai @faroutakhtar ki shaadi hain (Today, our brother Farhan is getting married) @zoieakhtar #sisterselfie #khandala," she wrote in the caption. 

Farhan Akhtar, son of Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani. The duo, who divorced each other after 16 years of marriage, have two daughters Shakya and Akira.
