Fans are getting MAJOR Saath Nibhana Saathiya feels in Shaheer-Rhea's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke

Oops! 'Koki' does it again...

Ye Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke starring Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma went on air recently and it has already started bagging accolades from all over. The first week TRP was out this week and the show opened with a bang. It toppled the popular shows like Naagin 3, The Kapil Sharma Show 2 and others and claimed the first spot. The show has started taking up pace and the makers have released their upcoming track promo. And guess what, the fans have started drawing a comparison with another Star Plus show.

And the show that we are talking about is Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.

In Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke latest promo we can see that Meenakshi Rajvansh (Rupal Patel) has gone at Mishti's (Rhea Sharma) place to choose a bride for Kunal Rajvansh (Ritvik Arora). While everyone is waiting eagerly for Kunal and Kuhu Maheshwari's (Kaveri Priyam) bond, Meenakshi chooses Misti as the prospective bride.

Well, this promo instantly reminded the fans of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. In a similar way, Roopal Patel aka Kokila Modi has rejected Rashi (Rucha Hasabnis) for Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) and chose Gopi (Giaa Manek). The fans couldn't help but comment on it. While one wrote, "She has done this before! "main apne bete ke liye Aapki beti gopi ka haath maangti hu" @harshasatheesh"[sic], someone else wrote, "Koki don't be koki "[sic]

Well, we wonder what next twist will the makers bring after this. Will, Kuhu and Kunal part ways and Mishti end up marrying Kunal or Mishti will get married to Abir (Shaheer Sheikh)? Only time will tell...

@SamW92 I couldn't agree more with you. Axing Saathiya was a big mistake by Star Plus. Saathiya was the show that changed the game for 7pm slot and encouraged channels to launch high-budget shows in the pre-prime time slot. Following the success of Saathiya, Star introduced shows at evening time slots such as Mohi at 5pm, Mere Angne Mein and Jaana Na Dil Se Door at 5.30pm, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir and Rishton Ka Chakravyuh at 6pm, and Ruk Jaana Nahi, Ek Ghar Banaunga and Suhani Si Ek Ladki at 6.30pm slot.

I guess if Star Plus can let Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai till now, they could have let Saathiya run too. And btw did you notice? Ending Saathiya has jinxed the 7pm slot of Star Plus FOREVER! Now the channel is airing repeats of Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Kay at the 7pm slot.

But leaving all that apart, Saathiya and it's iconic characters like Gopi, Rashi, Kokilaa, Ahem shall continue to live in our hearts till eternity.

I love Rhea Sharma. I also get the SNS vibes. But I miss Kokila's iconic dialogue "Gopi Bahu" & "Gaura".

Saathiya should not have gone off air. It had enough trp in the end also. I was totally in love with Meera i.e. Tanya Sharma. Miss Dharam ji as well.

Can never forget saathiya... It was my favourite show and i dont know how lol... Anywayz... Yaa in a different perspective of mine Yrphk looks like season 2 of sns with a good storyline , Same kokila modi (Revamped version) haha... But even liking this one too

Awww, that's so sweet. Saath Nibhana Saathiya was very close to my heart and it was sooo entertaining. I remember myself glued to TV at 7pm watching the mysterious life of Gopi Bahu and her quest to win the love of her Saathiya.
