‘Extra cuddles from Saraayu’: Kiara Advani gives peek into first Mother’s Day celebrations

Actor Kiara Advani celebrated her first Mother’s Day on May 10 after welcoming daughter Saraayah Malhotra with husband Sidharth Malhotra in July 2025. The actor shared glimpses from the intimate family celebration on Instagram, giving fans a peek into her special day at home.

Among the pictures shared in the carousel, one image that caught attention online featured a pink outfit printed with the line, “It’s my mom’s first Mother’s Day! (P.S. I’m her gift).” The post quickly went viral across social media, with fans calling the celebration wholesome and heartfelt.

Kiara also shared moments from the day that included breakfast prepared by Sidharth and time spent with their daughter. In one of the photos, the actor showed homemade chocolate pancakes arranged with the word “MOM” written on the plate.

Sharing the post online, Kiara wrote, “We take our celebrations very seriously! This year was extra special being my first, the husband decided to surprise me with his cooking skills, chocolate pancakes for breakfast, extra cuddles from Saraayu and lots of cake.”

The actor also dedicated a heartfelt message to mothers and thanked her daughter for making her experience motherhood for the first time. “To all the mamas out there, thank you for all that you do for your family. You are loved and celebrated every day,” she wrote. Addressing her daughter in the note, Kiara added, “To my little angel Thank YOU for making me your mama.”

Continuing a yearly tradition, the actor also posted unseen pictures and messages for her mother Genevieve Advani and mother in law Rimma Malhotra. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married in Jaisalmer in 2023 after dating for several years. The couple welcomed daughter Saraayah in July last year.

On the work front, Kiara is currently busy shooting for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups directed by Geethu Mohandas. The film also stars Yash and is expected to release in June 2026.
