Nidhi Singh became a household name for her stint in TVF's Permanent Roommates. From starring in movies to doing ALT Balaji's popular webseries Apharan, the actress never fails to stun her fans. The actress is all set to come up with her next project and recently shared on social media about it with her fans.

We got in touch with her to know all about it. The actress revealed, "My upcoming project is Kaand. It is a cineplay which supposed to go on air on Zee 5. However, the makers are still deciding on the platform. It is going to release on TataSky Theatre channel for sure. The cineplay is directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Akvarious Productions, D for Drama and Reverie Entertainment." 

She further revealed, "It is basically a play that I have been associated with for almost 2 years now. The play starred Subhrajyoti Barat, Kumud Mishra and myself in the lead roles. And this is being made in the form of cineplay for the digital audience. As Kumud sir had some prior commitments, Abhay Joshi has come onboard for the cineplay and will replace him in it." 

The Permanent Roommates actress revealed about the plot and her character and shared, "The story involves two cops (Subhrajyoti Barat and Abhay Joshi) and one wife, which is played by me. I will be playing a Bengali young wife to Subhrajyoti sir. The story goes as one night something happens to Subhrajyoti sir's character and how his wife gets involved and what happens to the cops. There is a crime, personal conflicts and many more. The plot has such interesting twists and turns that the viewer will be thrilled after watching it."

When we asked her why she picked it, she revealed, "All the persons whom I working with has such profound knowledge that I am in complete awe to work with them. Akarsh called me one day and took me onboard and the plotline was such that I couldn't refuse. Adhir Bhatt, who is the writer has created a fantastic script and you will surely call it extra ordinary once you see it. I have never done such a role and I am excited about the project."
