& TV's Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is one of the popular shows of television. Produced by Benaifer Kohli and Sanjay Kohli under the banner of Edit II Productions, the show revolves around the concept of two neighbouring couples, the Mishra's and the Tiwari's.
While the husbands are attracted to each other's wives and attempt various tropes to impress them, they constantly fail to do so. Inspired by the 1995 Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati, the show is known to leave everyone rolling on the floors with the jokes and comic timing of the stellar cast. Recently, we got to hear that the show might shift from & TV to its parent channel, Zee TV.
Well, we were also. But guess what! It is not happening. When we tried to reach producer Benaifer Kohli, she denied the news. So, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is not shifting anywhere and will continue on & TV.
Meanwhile, in November, Pakistan Supreme Court had authorized a ban on Indian content in the country. Commenting about it, Benaifer had told, "Why should we air our content there anyway? We go there, play with them, and let our soldiers get killed by them. How shameful is that? I feel ashamed of myself. My father-in-law died in the army, and my husband Sanjay's brothers-in-law are in the army. What are they fighting for? We should take a clear stand wherein we should support our soldiers."
