'Excited' Ali Fazal mum on marriage plans

Ali Fazal dropped a hint on Twitter of his plans to get married soon, but the actor is tight-lipped about it as he says he can't "say anything about the girl" and yet is excited to take the "big step".

"I can't say anything about the girl. I will reveal it in the next few days. I'm excited as it is a big step," Ali, who turned 29 on Thursday, told IANS.

The actor sent his fans into frenzy when he tweeted: "Hey guys, so...Wish me luck..So next four minutes, I propose marriage to this wonderful woman. Here on my life changes. See you on the other side".

The tweet left Ali's fans guessing the mystery woman.

In fact, many thought that the post was in-sync with his upcoming web series "Band Baaja Baaraat" and passed it off as a promotional gimmick.

But the actor, who featured in films like "Bobby Jasoos", "Fukrey" and "Khamoshiyan", asserted that he tweeted on the "spur of the moment".

"Well, I mean I really tweeted, but it was in the spur of the moment. It is very personal for me when you decide to get hitched and propose marriage to someone. I will talk about it in some days," the actor said.

Asked if he has chosen a date for the big day, he promptly replied that it "could be tomorrow".

"I'm not giving you any details. Our lives are not hidden from media anyway, you will get to know," Ali said.
