How do you keep yourself fit?
I do exercises in the gym, lift a lot of weights and make sure to work out at least 4-5 days in a week. I also love to do aerobics to keep myself fit and fine.

What is Fitness to you?
Fitness to me is the way we live life and the attitude that we have towards life..

When did you get the awareness of keeping fit?
I have always been fit since childhood; I used to take part in many sports activities. I have played Water Polo for Maharashtra and have also won a lot of awards for sports.

What does your eating routine consist of?
I try and go in for low carbohydrate and more of protein oriented stuff.

Was there any time when you were in bad shape in terms of your health?
Well, between 2000 and 2008 I was not in good shape as I was doing a lot of work and had no time. Frankly speaking, that was a phase where I lacked motivation and the requirement to be fit.

Do you idolize any one in the media industry in terms of fitness?
Well no one there!!

There is lot of craze about six pack abs, what do you have to say about that?
I think every tom dick and harry wants to have a six pack abs. Even I had six packs when I was with Gladrags in 2001.

Do you relate your fitness to work?
For me fitness is very important. I feel that one has to be fit to be good at work.

Do you think this industry needs one to be fit?
Yaa definitely one has to be fit to go through the tough shooting schedules. Also the worst part that I have come across is that a lot of youngsters have steroids which just make the exterior of their body great, but they spoil their interiors.

Message for your fans to be fit and fine?
I just want to tell this - Stay motivated and have a positive attitude towards your body.
