Every form of art can be interactive: Shefali Shah

Actress Shefali Shah, who is displaying her artwork titled Perspective for the first time at an art exhibition here, says every form of art can be interactive.

Actress Shefali Shah, who is displaying her artwork titled Perspective for the first time at an art exhibition here, says every form of art can be interactive.

The actress has been painting for the past six to seven years and some of her work has been represented by Samsara Arts.

All her work is in acrylic and ink on canvas. This is for the first time that she is displaying her art work at the Concern India Foundation (CIF) Art exhibition called Art for Concern. Her series is called Perspective.

"My series are called Perspective...I believe every form of art can be interactive. It's not only an artist's interpretation but a viewer's perception that makes it complete," Shefali said in a statement.

All the earnings from the exhibition will be given to charity. The two-day exhibition will end on Saturday.

The actress, who was last seen in "Dil Dhadakne Do" on the big screen and also voiced Mowgli's adoptive mother Raksha, the wolf, in the Hindi version of "The Jungle Book", says she is 'privileged' to be a part of the exhibition for a cause.

She said: "I am privileged to be a part of the Concern India Foundation exhibition which works towards various charities...the proceeds of the exhibition will go to charity. It's an honour for me to have my work exhibited with renowned senior artists and masters."

Apart from having various renowned artists, the CIF introduces a new artist every year. And this year it is Shefali. They will also have an exhibition in Mumbai sometime in June or July.
