Eros Now Offers Treat Amid Coronavirus Lockdown: Two Months’ Free Subscription

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused distress all over the world. In regard to the current callous situation, the Maharashtra government has instructed the shutdown of schools, colleges, gyms, swimming pools, theatres till March 31 2020.

Besides, the entertainment industry too has come to a standstill as all shoots are being cancelled and the cinegoers also faced a massive shutdown as various films, right from Sooryanvanshi to ‘83 have pushed the release of their films. 

However, to add relief to the people staying at home, Eros Now has a sweet gift for Indians. The streaming website has announced two months of free subscription amidst the lockdown caused due to the virus.

Eros Now took to Twitter to share the happy news by sharing a clip from Manmarziyan featuring Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu, with a caption that read: “When your family asks you to get masks but you get beauty masks instead.”

With this, people can enjoy movies like Bajirao Mastani, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi and more. Older titles such as Omkara, Partner, Krrish, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam on Eros Now, which will be available for free.

In a similar move, Universal Pictures on Monday announced that it will make its current and upcoming films available for on-demand rental, becoming the first major studio to break the traditional theatrical window of 90 days due to the pandemic. A 48-hour rental will cost $19.99.
