Emergency: Last schedule of filming begins in Mumbai; Kangana shares a BTS picture

Kangana Ranaut has been filming for her movie Emergency for the past few months and has also been offering fans BTS glimpses of her shoot. The film is being helmed by Kangana and she would also be seen playing the lead in the film. The pictures of Kangana as Indira Gandhi had already generated a hype amongst the audiences.

The teaser of the film was released a few weeks ago. In the teaser, a man can be seen taking a phone call in the teaser. He eventually makes his way to a sizable office. In the hallway, a woman can be seen standing and studying some documents. The man asks her if she can be addressed as "Madam" because the US President has requested it. Kangana responds with, "Okay. Ujhe mere daftar me sab Madam nahi Sir kehte hain, keh dena America ke president." Sharing it, Kangana captioned it, 'Presenting ‘Her’ who was called ‘Sir’ #Emergency shoot begins.'

In the Kangana-directed political drama Emergency, the star will represent Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

David Malinowski, a well-known prosthetic makeup artist, was hired for the task. In addition to Kangana, other prominent actors in the movie include Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade. The script was written by Ritesh Shah, who also authored Dhaakad, Kangana's most recent movie. The film will be released theatrically in 2023. Talking about her further work commitments, Kangana also has films like 'Tejas' and 'Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda' in her kitty.
