Ellen’s playdate with Meghan and Prince Harry's Baby- Archie! It couldn't get any cute

The never-ending list of people wanting to meet baby Archie is gradually declining. 

Now, Hollywood’s most generous - Ellen DeGeneres recently teased the audience about her playdate baby Archie. Ellen made a surprise visit to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Meghan Markel and Prince Harry) and guess what?

“Here’s a sentence I thought I would never say, but I spent the afternoon with Prince Harry and Meghan” and it took no time for the audience to start woohooing. She further added  “and the most important thing is that I got to hold Archie - the baby.”   

She also bragged about cradling baby Archie, she teased her audience saying, “I fed Archie, I held Archie,” in a promo for her new season. 

Baby Archie is already befriending some of the most famous celebrities around the world.

DeGeneres also joked that the four-month-old friend “weighs 15 lbs., which is, the exchange rate, is 17 dollars here!”

It seems like Ellen has had the most precious encounter so far. Talking about Archie’s looks she revealed “he looks like Harry - and he had more hair than I did at the time.”

Taking it to pen and sketch board, she also made a drawing of Archie to define how Baby Archie looked.

Ellen also talked to her audience about Meghan and Harry. 

Previously, Ellen had stepped up in defence of Meghan and Harry in a tweet as the couple was ferociously criticized for taking private jets for their vacations around Europe.

She Tweeted: “Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan in England to talk about their work on wildlife conservation. They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better.”

Trying to defend them during the segment as well, she said: "I just want to say it was an honour for them to meet me. Seriously, they are so amazing. They're the cutest couple, so down to earth. And I just hate it, I see them get attacked and it's not fair. They're just two of the most down to earth, compassionate people, they are doing so much good in the world. And they're doing all this work with Botswana for elephants and I love that. So we're all going to do something together."

To everyone's surprise, during the preview 61-year-old also mentioned that she and her wife Portia de Rossi hope to partner with the royal couple on some conservation work.

The host seems to be roping in some of the important personalities for her conservation projects. 

She said: “Portia and I talked to them about all the conservation they are doing for wildlife. They are doing all this work in Botswana for elephants and I love that, and they like what I’m doing for the gorillas in Rwanda so we’re gonna all do something together.”
