Elated to join 'Superstar Singer 2' as a ‘Captain’ along with Pawandeep, Danish and Sayali: Arunita Kanjilal

Following the overwhelming success of Superstar Singer season 1, Sony Entertainment Television is all set to bring another vibrant season of its homegrown kids-based singing reality show – Superstar Singer. Celebrating singing ka kal, Superstar Singer Season 2 will showcase some extraordinary little wonders from across the country with a unique sense of musical expression and dedication, and passion. Grooming and mentoring this young singing talent will be a well-appointed panel of Captains. 

Indian Idol – S12 finalist Arunita Kanjilal will be seen taking on the role of the captain in the upcoming season of Superstar Singer. Having won millions of hearts with her mesmerizing melodious voice, the pitch-perfect vocalist from West Bengal will surely prove to be an inspiration for many young brilliant voices around the nation. In the quest to find the best, Arunita has visited every nook and corner of the country to bring forth some of the most beautiful and brilliant voices of kids the country has ever heard or seen. 

Expressing her excitement on being the Captain, Arunita Kanijlal shared, "I'm extremely excited to begin this journey with Superstar Singer - 2 as a captain along with my friends and contemporaries Pawandeep, Danish, and Sayali. All of us will be joining Salman Ali the OG Captain of the show (smiles). It feels like yesterday when the four of us were jamming together at every given opportunity and it’s now that we realize that it only helped us grow as individuals and as singers. While there will always be healthy competition amongst us, we know our individual strengths and we intend to extend our learnings and knowledge to the young contestants on the show. Can’t wait for the viewers to meet this season’s contestants – I am sure they will be blown away with the talent just like me!”
