Ekta Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19

Producer Ekta Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19 and she did in fact, take to social media to announce the same. Recently, the COVID-19 cases have been on the rise once again, especially with the new Omicron variant. A couple of actors have tested positive in the recent times, some of whom include John Abraham and wife, Nora Fatehi, among others.

Ekta took to social media to announce the same and wrote: Despite taking all precautions, I have tested covid positive. I am fine and I request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves.

Many in the entertainment space have tested positive for COVID-19 with cases on the rise despite precautionary measures being take. As for Mumbai is concerned, there has been a stark rise in cases and many guidelines have been put into place in order to curb the numbers.

Be it the curfew that has been imposed or the restrictions in order to make sure that there are no gatherings or any such event that take place that might lead to a spread of the virus, everyone has been asked to take necessary measures and be safe.
