But we are still getting segments and all?? Thats not an issue. But why not promoting Pardes?? its the best show of Starplus as of now.Please mam pardes is your show only n it has the best cast leads are so good please promote

Before banning media she should fire her writers and cvs first specially yeh hai mohabbatein's cvs...bcoz unnecessary characters are eating screen space just bcoz he is the jobless husband of Lead actress... What do most of current time TV viewers look for to watch in a serial as part of entertainment and how will popularity and ratings be impacted? Some strong story line, overall concept of a track, talented star cast, quality of weekly episodes, fair connection between plots and sub-plots and episodes, factors that can be relatable with big section of audience, some novelty or freshness shown in twists once in a while, chemistry between characters, these in addition to channel's marketing strategies usually help a serial in managing rating charts on TV.

Most of the Balaji shows mentioned in the article seem to have been facing some issues or the other in retention of viewers sustained interest with their diminishing quality, week after week.

As a Creative Head cum Producer, request Ekta Kapoor to first start spending more time in brain storming sessions with her writers, creatives, editors, directors and production in charges of each of her shows and also start conducting regular introspection meetings on telecasted promos as well as weekly episodes. Most of them do have talent, experience and even few of her shows have potential to do much better in terms of feedback as well as ratings, if they focus to tighten up loose plots, get rid of disconnected scripts, write sensible screenplays and show some novelty rather than repetitive, recycled, predictable and yawny sequences commonly shown across in all Balaji shows.


Media teams who shoot and telecast segments of Balaji shows on their news channels mostly get inputs from the cast & crew working on sets. Production team can always restrict kind of inputs that are shared with media and even the dates on which segments can get telecast based on their Baljia's own weekly promo's or spoilers. This can rather help in creating some excitement in viewers to look forward to upcoming episodes.

I agree with her to some extent because media loves to exaggerate things which affects trps. Secondly this media causes disturbance for the crews aswell

But on the other side most of the top shows like shakti ,udaan ,yrkkth are doing tremendously good even with media interruption. I think instead of stopping the media she rather should warn her creative team produce something better and fresh. Most of her shows are having repeatative tracks. I won't deny that fact she brought dynamic changes in Indian telly industry. But she should realize Viewers have changed a lot in past few years. All other pH are trying to give audience something fresh and new . Diya aur baati hum, Shakti are good examples.
She is currently running too many shows with bunch of inefficient writters and director team.

Getting media on sets does matter but it's more of an online thing.
There is not much of a difference in TRP as most of the TRP audience does not watch sbs, etc.
She needs to realise that repetitive tracks, negative tracks do not work for long.
They create the interest for a couple of weeks but then people get bored.
The audience is not foolish to accept anything and everything thrown at it.
I hope she realises this and throws out unwanted tracks from all her shows.

Seriously, blame the media? Every PH needs to introspect what they are offering to a large chunk of Indian audiences in the name of entertainment. Creativity , originality it seems are dead now in Indian tv serials. Very saddening.

EK you must be joking right, lol. Just hire new writers instead of banning media on sets, every Balaji show wil have same twist, like getting shot, kidnapped etc, it shows the creativity of the writers. Kumkum Bhagya hardly gets segments these days still trp's are decreasing which shows its not media but the script which is responsible. YHM is always about crime tracks & humiliating Raman everytime. Pardes runs st a rocket speed n hardly its ever promoted. Kasam is a gone case, pre leap was better now it doesn't make any sense. Naagin is boring as hell. All balaji shows are crap right now ,do something yo change the story line then trp's will increase automatically.

Trps r dipping coz all ur shows are more or less showing same track how ironical when in kkb a sharp shooter is hired in other shows too it's happening all the heroine r getting kidnapped at same time come on.
All her shows have same plot hero is hanging between wife & gf. Other than romance hero has nothing to do in show.
Same kidnapping murder attempts character less drama going on again & again.
All her shows whether it's kkb kasam yhm r nothing but old plot with new cast. & kkb omg it is topping the charts God knows how the story is where the show started hadn't moved a inch in 3 yrs. Just for providing ss to these boring villains showing 16 months pregnancy they sidelined their parallel leads & now they r left with nothing to show so they r repeating same story again in name of ml.
Kasam it also started well but now this is also no different.
Paredes this show is only working on its cast cmng to story currently it still has something to show but m sure it will soon join the list.
So stop blaming media for falling trps.

change your super creatives writers...editors...rather than banning the media and footage...your super creative writers are the reason of dipping trps not the media...the media shows the OLV which means they are only showing what your super creative writers has pen down in their script...the media has not pen down the script to bring dips in trps...if craps are being shove on the face..trps will dip...there are other shows doesn't have a media coverage yet they have low trps...there are some shows like shani on colors doesn't have a media coverage yet the show is increasing with trps becos of the channel is promoting the show and there are shows with media coverage and still manage to be in top 10 continuously...
shows like kuch rang pyar ke aisi bhi...beyhadh are not trps chart rulers...it has media coverage and both shows are very popular with the audience...becos with great performance...the show has good creative script writer...bonus value the media promotes the script written with segments and it has been accepted by the audience with open arms...even though its not a top 10 show..it has nothing to do with media and footage...if something has to be done...change the writers...they can't think of anything new...everything is recycle from your decades all show only...except for Pyar Ki Yeh Kahani...nothing is new from your kitty
