Drug Case: Kshitij Prasad of Dharmatic Entertainment lodged in Taloja Jail

Kshitij Prasad, former executive producer of Dharmatic Entertainment has been held by the Narcotics Control Bureau in drug case.

“NCB takes Kshitij Prasad, former executive producer of Dharmatic Entertainment, into custody in case involving recovery of cocaine from Nigerian national in Mumbai” PTI quoted an official as saying on Thursday.

Kshitij is lodged in Taloja jail and the NCB has got his custody for two days.

A day ago, special NDPS court allowed the NCB to take Prasad's custody in connection with the case in which four gm cocaine was recovered from Nigerian national Uka Emeka in suburban Andheri last month.

Besides Prasad, the NCB has also taken into custody African national Agilslaos Demtriades in the same case, informs an official.

Agilslaos Demtriades, who was arrested last month from Lonavla, is the brother of Gabriella Demtriades, girlfriend of actor Arjun Rampal. 

Kshitij Prasad was earlier arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs case related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Prasad is a former employee of Dharmatic Entertainment, a sister concern of filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
