Drishyam 2 fame Mohanlal expresses gratitude to fans for their unending love and appreciation

Such has been the unprecedented success garnered by Drishyam 2 in a short span of time that it can be very easily termed as one of the best sequels made in the Indian Film Industry in recent times. The testimony to this statement would be the hundreds and thousands of tweets and social media shout-outs to the crime thriller ever since the film launched on February 19th on Amazon Prime Video across the globe. The media, critics, noted film and sports personalities and of course, the audience and Lalettan fans have been unanimously singing praises of how the movie is flawless in terms of writing, direction, and acting by the cast. 

Expressing his gratitude, the man himself, superstar Mohanlal uploaded a post on his social media thanking fans for their unending love and appreciation. The legendary actor also went on to thank Amazon Prime Video, which is streaming the film, for putting Drishyam 2 on the global map and giving audiences across the world a “first-day-first stream experience” from the comfort and safety of their homes.

Earlier during multiple conversations, Mohanlal had expressed his happiness with Drishyam 2’s launch on Amazon Prime Video where he had mentioned how the movie’s launch on the service would make it accessible to avid cinephiles in 240 countries and territories. The film is being enjoyed by viewers across the country and world, proving that “language” is no barrier to good content. It is the quintessential story that matters the most and something that easily transcends borders.  

Apart from the audience and critics, many other celebrities too mentioned how they were in awe of Drishyam 2 and Mohanlal and the rest of the cast’s method acting skills and the overall movie in general. These celebrities include superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, popular cricketer - Ashwin Ajai Vasudev, Vysakh, Midhun Manuel Thomas, Sajid Yahiya, Unni Mukundan among many others. 

For the uninitiated, Drishyam 2 is the sequel to the blockbuster movie – Drishyam which is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
