Rajan Shahi's long-running Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Mohsin Khan & Shivangi Joshi in the lead roles of Kartik & Naira respectively, is fetching great numbers on TRP charts even after completing 10 years in January this year. Recently, the show witnessed the entry of 'Qubool Hai' actor Varun Toorkey and the makers are now planning to bring a new entry in the show.
According to an entertainment portal, senior actor Rituraj K. Singh will soon enter 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Seen in various popular TV shows, films as well as web shows, Rituraj K. Singh will enter 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' as the younger brother of Kartik's grandmother (Swati Chitnis). He has reportedly said yes to the Star Plus as his character will be short yet interesting.
Speaking about his character, a source told the portal that, Rituraj will be seen playing the role happy-go-lucky Puru Mama who will come down to attend Kartik & Naira's wedding.
There will be something weird about the behaviour of Rituraj's character which makes it interesting.
However, the actor is yet to react on his entry in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.
On the career front, Rituraj has featured in popular shows like 'Ghar Ek Mandir', 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', 'Kutumb', 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki', 'Beintehaa' among others and was last seen in Colors show 'Laado 2 - Veerpur Ki Mardaani'.
