Disney introduces Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra to its domestic slate

Brahmastra, the upcoming drama/fantasy film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is one of the most eagerly awaited films, with fans gleefully anticipating its release. It will be released on September 9, this year, in five Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, and will star Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.

 Ayan Mukerji directed the film, which was co-produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. Disney has now appended the movie to its domestic box office schedule. According to Deadline, Brahmastra will be released in the United States and Canada on September 9th. 

 According to reports, Disney was already planning a worldwide release. It's also rumoured to be Bollywood's most highly priced production to date. Alia will play the character of Isha in the film, while Ranbir will pull Shiva. This is Alia and Ranbir's first collaboration, and fans have been anticipating the couple's on-screen chemistry.

For the uninnitiated Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on 14th April in an intimate ceremony with only close friends and family members in attendace. Their wedding was innitiated in the simplest manner at Ranbir's house Vastu. After their wedding social media was flooded with mushy pictures of the couple and their family pictures from the wedding festivities. 

Apart from this, Alia will be seen next in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh followed by Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif. The actress will also make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone, co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Whereas, Ranbir will be seen in Animal with Rashmika Mandanna, Shamshera, alongside Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
