Dimple Jhangiani bags lead role in Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat

Dimple Jhangiani who was last seen in Star One's Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag will be seen playing the main lead in Star Plus' Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat.

The show is taking a leap and she will be playing the character of Kapil Nirmal and Anjali Abrol's daughter Sandhya. Sandhya will now be shown as a grown up girl and she will take the story further.  The character will be very bubbly and crispy. Sandhya is a much pampered child of the family. She is a princess. There will be servants around her for her each and every daily chore."

The show is taking a leap in another 3-4 days and the sad news is that Kapil Nirmal and Anjali Abrol will not be a part of the show. As per news reports till now, the lot from the original cast who will be retained is Choti Rani aka Mrinal Kulkarni and Raja Saheb aka Pankaj Dheer.

We contacted Kapil who says, "As of now I and Anjali are not part of the show. The show is taking a leap and we were informed two days before. The show is taking another turn and I don't think we will do older roles."

We tried contacting Dimple, but she remained unavailable for comments.
