Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has been on a whirlwind tour worldwide with his team, delighting fans with his dynamic performances and soulful tunes. Making history with his Dil-Luminati Tour, Diljit achieved the title of the biggest global tour by an Indian artist. Recently, Diljit's visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi earned admiration from the PM, further solidifying his success.

On the 1st of January 2025, PM Narendra Modi's official Instagram handle dropped a video offering a glimpse into Diljit Dosanjh's recent meeting with him. The video kicked off with the singer-actor entering the PM's office, presenting a bouquet.

Sporting a long black coat paired with matching pants, a white shirt, a tie, and a coordinated turban, the Crew actor exuded his signature dapper style. Following a poised pose with PM Modi, the two engaged in a meaningful conversation as they took their seats. The caption of the video read, “A very memorable interaction! Here are the highlights.”

In the clip, PM Modi can be seen telling Diljit, “Hindustan ke gaon ka ek ladka jab duniya me naam roshan karta hai toh acha lagta hai. Aapke pariwaar ne aapka naam Diljit rakha toh aap jeete he jaatein ho logon ko. (When a boy from a village in India makes the country proud, it feels really good. Your family named you Diljit and you have been winning people’s hearts.)”

As they delved into India's magnificence during their conversation, Diljit expressed, “Hum padte they ke mera Bharat mahaan. Jab mai baahra ghooma toh mereko pata chala ye kyun kehte hai. (We used to read that our country is great. When I started touring the world, I realized why it was said so.)”
