The coronavirus outbreak has spread scare around the globe and many have decided to self-quarantine themselves to combat the spread. Now, Bollywood’s legendary actor Dilip Kumar has decided to be under self-quarantine as he plans on protecting wife Saira Banu.
In the wee hours of Monday night, Kumar took to his Twitter handle as he wrote, “I am under complete isolation and quarantine due to the #CoronavirusOutbreak. Saira has left nothing to chance, ensuring I do not catch any infection.”
The veteran actor then advised all his fans to stay indoors and urged people to stop the spread.
“I appeal to all of you to protect yourself and others by staying indoors as much as possible. The #CoronavirusOutbreak transcends all boundaries and borders,” Kumar tweeted. “Follow guidelines issued by health departments, protect yourself and others by limiting your exposure to others,” he added.
The 97-year-old was recently got discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai following backaches revealed how he is dealing with the situation. His wife and senior actor Saira Banu gave a health update as she revealed he is doing better after suffering severe backaches.
Like Dilip Kumar, several Bollywood and Hollywood Celebrities have decided to adapt self-quarantine which seems to be an effective method against the spreading of COVID-19.
